Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bob by Aaron Garber-Maikovska was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,710.00 (€ 10,947.56) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Garber-Maikovska achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 156,250.00 (€ 133,890.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bob von Aaron Garber-Maikovska wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.710,00 (€ 10.947,56) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Garber-Maikovska erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.250,00 (€ 133.890,32).
