Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Aaron Curry could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Dead Headspace (Black Cloud) changed hands for EUR 4,375.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Curry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fractured Union (In Perfect Form) in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 67,369.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Aaron Curry konnte im November 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Dead Headspace (Black Cloud) für EUR 4.375,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Curry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fractured Union (In Perfect Form) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 67.369,88).
