Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Two works: (i) Two Sheets Thick; (ii) Power Of Off by Aaron Curry for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,266.94). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aaron Curry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fractured Union (In Perfect Form) in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 67,369.88).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two works: (i) Two Sheets Thick; (ii) Power Of Off von Aaron Curry für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.266,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aaron Curry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fractured Union (In Perfect Form) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 67.369,88).
