The work Trout on a river bank by A. Roland Knight was sold in the The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, auction at Christies in London in July 2005. The price achieved of GBP 420.00 (€ 609.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by A. Roland Knight achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Perch; Salmon and Trout; Roach; Pike; Barbel and Chub; and Trout -the first leap in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 9,560.00 (€ 14,228.14).

Die Arbeit Trout on a river bank von A. Roland Knight wurde im Juli 2005 in der Auktion The Sunday Picture Sale - British and Continental oils, bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 420,00 (€ 609,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden.
