In March 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Amaya Collection Modern and Contemporary Indian Art, which included the work Yellow Robe by A. Ramachandran. The »bidding war« ended at USD 68,750.00 (€ 53,643.88), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by A. Ramachandran have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 86,500.00 (€ 64,871.76) in March 2012 for the work Untitled (Crucifixion); Untitled (after Crucifixion of Mathias Grünewald).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 53.643,88) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von A.
