The work Portrait of Naga Family by A. Ramachandran was sold in the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 40,320.00 (€ 47,768.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by A. Ramachandran have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2012 the work Untitled (Crucifixion); Untitled (after Crucifixion of Mathias Grünewald) was auctioned for USD 86,500.00 (€ 64,871.76).
