Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2001 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Time to go home by Zvi Malnovitzer. The price achieved of USD 18,800.00 (€ 20,986.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 16,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Zvi Malnovitzer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2001 the work Tashlich was auctioned for USD 28,200.00 (€ 30,612.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2001 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Time to go home von Zvi Malnovitzer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.800,00 (€ 20.986,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 16.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Zvi Malnovitzer konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2001 die Arbeit Tashlich für USD 28.200,00 (€ 30.612,24) versteigert.
