Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Quiet Valley by Zhu Xiaoqing was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. The price achieved of CNY 36,000.00 (€ 4,618.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhu Xiaoqing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Snowscape, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,082.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Quiet Valley von Zhu Xiaoqing kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 36.000,00 (€ 4.618,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhu Xiaoqing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Snowscape beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.082,00) versteigert wurde.
