Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Ancient Temple in the Mountains by Zhu Xiaoqing. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,900.00 (€ 9,723.29). Other works by Zhu Xiaoqing have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 100,800.00 (€ 12,082.00) in May this year for the work Snowscape.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ancient Temple in the Mountains von Zhu Xiaoqing zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.900,00 (€ 9.723,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Zhu Xiaoqing haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 100.800,00 (€ 12.082,00) im Mai diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Snowscape beobachtet.
