Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included the work China China by Zhu Wei. It changed hands for a price of EUR 47,880.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,475,000.00 (€ 709,338.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch die Arbeit China China von Zhu Wei zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 47.880,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.475.000,00 (€ 709.338,68).
