Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Story of Xiulian, No. 3 by Zhu Wei was sold in the No Regrets: The Collectors' Edition auction at Christies in London in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,807.32). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ink And Wash Research Lectures Series in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 7,475,000.00 (€ 709,338.68).
