Upper estimate price exceeded by 35 %.
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Ink Bamboos by Zhu Sheng. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 378,000.00 (€ 41,866.58), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Zhu Sheng have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 57,358.61) in May 2018 for the work Ink Bamboo.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ink Bamboos von Zhu Sheng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 41.866,58) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Zhu Sheng haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 57.358,61) im Mai 2018 für die Arbeit Ink Bamboo beobachtet.
