Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flower and Bird by Zhou Zhongyao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 84,000.00 (€ 7,998.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhou Zhongyao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tulips in Bloom, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 31,091.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flower and Bird von Zhou Zhongyao kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 7.998,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhou Zhongyao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tulips in Bloom beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 31.091,58) versteigert wurde.
