Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II, which included the work Flowers And Birds by Zhou Zhongyao. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 204,000.00 (€ 20,490.61). Other works by Zhou Zhongyao have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 31,091.58) in November 2011 for the work Tulips in Bloom.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers And Birds von Zhou Zhongyao zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 204.000,00 (€ 20.490,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Zhou Zhongyao haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 31.091,58) im November 2011 für die Arbeit Tulips in Bloom beobachtet.
