A top price for Zhou Zhongyao
The work Tulips in Bloom by Zhou Zhongyao was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 325,000.00 (€ 31,091.58), 16% above the upper estimate. With this result, Tulips in Bloom is even the most expensive work of art by Zhou Zhongyao that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Zhou Zhongyao
Die Arbeit Tulips in Bloom von Zhou Zhongyao wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 31.091,58) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Tulips in Bloom sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhou Zhongyao, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
