Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Five-character Poem in Running Script by Zhou Tianqiu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 7,410.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Tianqiu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy In Running Script in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 485,000.00 (€ 358,330.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Five-character Poem in Running Script von Zhou Tianqiu kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 7.410,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Tianqiu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 485.000,00 (€ 358.330,25).
