The work Cursive Script Calligraphy by Zhou Tianqiu was worth HKD 937,500.00 (€ 114,502.46) to a buyer in November 2015. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhou Tianqiu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Running Script, which sold at auction in September 2013 for USD 485,000.00 (€ 358,330.25).

Die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy von Zhou Tianqiu war einem Käufer im November 2015 HKD 937.500,00 (€ 114.502,46) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhou Tianqiu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script beobachtet, die im September 2013 für USD 485.000,00 (€ 358.330,25) versteigert wurde.
