The work Figures by Zhou Sicong was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction at POLY in October 2019. It achieved a price of HKD 73,160.00 (€ 8,362.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Sicong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotuses in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,960,000.00 (€ 201,787.71).

Die Arbeit Figures von Zhou Sicong wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 73.160,00 (€ 8.362,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Sicong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotuses im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.960.000,00 (€ 201.787,71).
