Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the Wind; Tipsy; Reflection; Covered with a Blanket by Zheng Zaidong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 84,000.00 (€ 7,998.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zheng Zaidong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wave in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In the Wind; Tipsy; Reflection; Covered with a Blanket von Zheng Zaidong wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 84.000,00 (€ 7.998,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Zaidong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wave im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21).
