Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zheng Xie could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Meng Haoran'S Poems In Running Script changed hands for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,430.97) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 240,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Rock in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,081,881.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Xie konnte im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Meng Haoran'S Poems In Running Script für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.430,97) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 240.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.081.881,53).
