This artwork by Zheng Xie achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Bamboo And Rock sold for HKD 72,000.00 (€ 8,984.12) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Rock in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,081,881.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Xie erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock für HKD 72.000,00 (€ 8.984,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.081.881,53).
