This artwork by Zheng Xie achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October 2021. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Ink Bamboo sold for HKD 1,176,000.00 (€ 130,813.71) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 650,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Rock in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,081,881.53).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Xie erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Ink Bamboo für HKD 1.176.000,00 (€ 130.813,71) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 650.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.081.881,53).
