Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Style by Zheng Xie was sold in the Asian Art auction at Bonhams in Sydney in December this year. It changed hands for a price of AUD 46,740.00 (€ 28,850.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bamboo And Rock in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,629,000.00 (€ 2,081,881.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Style von Zheng Xie wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian Art bei Bonhams in Sydney versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von AUD 46.740,00 (€ 28.850,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von AUD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bamboo And Rock im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.629.000,00 (€ 2.081.881,53).
