Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poem In Running Script by Zheng Xiaoxu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,600.00 (€ 2,526.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xiaoxu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 91,907.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poem In Running Script von Zheng Xiaoxu wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.600,00 (€ 2.526,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xiaoxu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 91.907,61).
