It achieved a price of HKD 102,000.00 (€ 12,334.97), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Admittedly, works by Zheng Xiaoxu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 91,907.61).

Die Arbeit Couplrts In Offical Script von Zheng Xiaoxu kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 102.000,00 (€ 12.334,97) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Xiaoxu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 91.907,61).
