Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Zheng Xiaoxu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 96,000.00 (€ 12,301.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Zheng Xiaoxu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 91,907.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zheng Xiaoxu wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 96.000,00 (€ 12.301,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Xiaoxu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 91.907,61).
