It achieved a price of HKD 41,300.00 (€ 4,421.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xiaoxu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 91,907.61).

Die Arbeit Poem In Running Script von Zheng Xiaoxu wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.421,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xiaoxu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 91.907,61).
