Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2019 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Calligraphy by Zheng Xiaoxu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 165,200.00 (€ 18,882.12). Admittedly, works by Zheng Xiaoxu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 91,907.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zheng Xiaoxu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 165.200,00 (€ 18.882,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zheng Xiaoxu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 91.907,61).
