Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy in Running Script by Zheng Xiaoxu was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 7,012.50 (€ 739.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xiaoxu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 91,907.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script von Zheng Xiaoxu kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.012,50 (€ 739,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xiaoxu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 91.907,61).
