This artwork by Zheng Xiaoxu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in July 2020. In the Chinese Paintingsthe online sale auction, the work Calligraphy in Running Script sold for HKD 22,950.00 (€ 2,514.48) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Xiaoxu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 90,000.00 (€ 91,907.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Xiaoxu erzielte im Juli 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Paintingsthe online sale wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy in Running Script für HKD 22.950,00 (€ 2.514,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Xiaoxu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 90.000,00 (€ 91.907,61).
