This artwork by Zheng Wuchang achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction, the work Landscape Scroll sold for HKD 182,900.00 (€ 20,905.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Wuchang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 16,375,000.00 (€ 1,871,638.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 83 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zheng Wuchang erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I wurde die Arbeit Landscape Scroll für HKD 182.900,00 (€ 20.905,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Wuchang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.375.000,00 (€ 1.871.638,28).
