Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Four Sceneries by Zheng Wuchang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,794.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Wuchang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 16,375,000.00 (€ 1,871,638.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Four Sceneries von Zheng Wuchang kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.794,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Wuchang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.375.000,00 (€ 1.871.638,28).
