Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chrysanthemum and Rock by Zheng Wuchang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction at POLY in April 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 41,300.00 (€ 4,701.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Wuchang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 16,375,000.00 (€ 1,871,638.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum and Rock von Zheng Wuchang wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.701,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Wuchang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.375.000,00 (€ 1.871.638,28).
