Sold at the lower estimate price
In March 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Autumn Landscape by Zheng Wuchang. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,671.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zheng Wuchang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 16,375,000.00 (€ 1,871,638.28).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumn Landscape von Zheng Wuchang zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.671,89) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zheng Wuchang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes Inspired By Wu Wenying'S Poetry im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.375.000,00 (€ 1.871.638,28).
