Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine and Cliff by Zhang Yu was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,500.00 (€ 2,972.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letter To Boqing in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 26,500,000.00 (€ 2,916,638.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine and Cliff von Zhang Yu kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 2.972,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letter To Boqing im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 26.500.000,00 (€ 2.916.638,05).
