A top price for Zhang Yu
The work Letter To Boqing by Zhang Yu was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 26,500,000.00 (€ 2,916,638.05), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Letter To Boqing is even the most expensive work of art by Zhang Yu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Letter To Boqing von Zhang Yu wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 26.500.000,00 (€ 2.916.638,05) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Letter To Boqing sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhang Yu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
