Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Birds, Bamboo And Rocks by Zhang Yu was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2016. It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,342.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letter To Boqing in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 26,500,000.00 (€ 2,916,638.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Birds, Bamboo And Rocks von Zhang Yu kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.342,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letter To Boqing im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 26.500.000,00 (€ 2.916.638,05).
