Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monkeys by Zhang Yu was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 82,600.00 (€ 9,720.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Letter To Boqing in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 26,500,000.00 (€ 2,916,638.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monkeys von Zhang Yu kam im Oktober 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 82.600,00 (€ 9.720,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Letter To Boqing im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 26.500.000,00 (€ 2.916.638,05).
