Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled - Studio I by Zhang Yexing for HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,815.04). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yexing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Afternoon in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled - Studio I von Zhang Yexing für HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.815,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yexing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Afternoon im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
