Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Zhang Yexing was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,147.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yexing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Afternoon in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhang Yexing kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.147,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yexing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Afternoon im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
