Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Yexing achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in October this year. In the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Untitled-Barber Shop(Painted In 2012) sold for HKD 360,000.00 (€ 43,535.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhang Yexing; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Afternoon sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Yexing erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled-Barber Shop(Painted In 2012) für HKD 360.000,00 (€ 43.535,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhang Yexing; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Afternoon im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
