Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Flowers by Zhang Xiong. The price achieved of HKD 72,000.00 (€ 9,226.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Xiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flowers And Fruits in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 68,274.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Zhang Xiong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 72.000,00 (€ 9.226,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Xiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 68.274,03).
