Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Zhang Xiong was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in October 2021. The price achieved of HKD 36,000.00 (€ 4,004.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Fruits in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 68,274.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Zhang Xiong wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 36.000,00 (€ 4.004,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 68.274,03).
