Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Flowers by Zhang Xiong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,640.00 (€ 6,377.75). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Fruits in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 68,274.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Zhang Xiong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.640,00 (€ 6.377,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 68.274,03).
