In October 2018 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Flowers by Zhang Xiong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 10,620.00 (€ 1,195.83), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Fruits in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 68,274.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Zhang Xiong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 10.620,00 (€ 1.195,83) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 68.274,03).
