Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flowers And Landscape by Zhang Xiong was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,340.21). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Xiong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Flowers And Fruits, which sold at auction in March 2013 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 68,274.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers And Landscape von Zhang Xiong kam im September 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.340,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits beobachtet, die im März 2013 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 68.274,03) versteigert wurde.
