Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Xiong achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers And Birds, Poem In Running Script sold for HKD 56,640.00 (€ 6,473.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 28,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Xiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Fruits in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 68,274.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Xiong erzielte im Oktober 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers And Birds, Poem In Running Script für HKD 56.640,00 (€ 6.473,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 28.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Xiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers And Fruits im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 68.274,03).
