Sold at the lower estimate price
The work PAYSAGE, ENCRE ET COULEUR SUR PAPIER by Zhang Pengchong was sold in the Art d'Asie auction at Christies in Paris in June 2015. The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Pengchong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape And Calligraphy in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,364.35).

Die Arbeit PAYSAGE, ENCRE ET COULEUR SUR PAPIER von Zhang Pengchong wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Art d'Asie bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Pengchong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.364,35).
