Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fragrances of Flowers by Zhang Pengchong was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. The price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,710.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Pengchong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape And Calligraphy, which sold at auction in March 2016 for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,364.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fragrances of Flowers von Zhang Pengchong wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.710,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Pengchong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape And Calligraphy beobachtet, die im März 2016 für USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.364,35) versteigert wurde.
