Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work New Year by Zhang Hong was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2013. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,556.18). Admittedly, works by Zhang Hong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio by a Secluded Stream in April last year with an auction result of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 73,124.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit New Year von Zhang Hong wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.556,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Hong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studio by a Secluded Stream im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 73.124,72).
